
Continuing its crackdown on drug peddlers, drug trafficking, and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved a significant breakthrough by recovering Proxyco capsules and 900 grams of Ganja-like substance from two drug peddlers in the R.S. Pura area.
On March 1, 2025, a police team from PS R.S. Pura, led by SHO Inspector Sh. R.S. Parihar, conducted a routine patrol and set up a naka near Flora near Ditch. During the operation, two suspects were apprehended: 1) Ankit Kumar, son of Som Bahadur, resident of Nepal, currently living in W No. 10, R.S. Pura, Jammu and 2) Baljeet Singh alias Tanna, son of Partab Singh, resident of W No. 11, R.S. Pura, Jammu. A subsequent search led to the recovery of Proxyco Spas capsules and 900 grams of Ganja from their possession.
A case, FIR No. 38/2025 U/S 8/20/21/22/29 NDPS Act, has been registered at PS R.S. Pura, and the accused have been arrested.
The operation, executed under the supervision of SDPO R.S. Pura and SP Headquarters Jammu, reflects Jammu Police’s unwavering commitment to eradicating the drug menace.
